Good Evening... How are you doing? Hope your day was a good one. Mine was a good one. I've been working on our master bedroom. Just got our black sheers up this evening. I think I'm going to like the way they look at the windows. What do you think? I have some pretty black sheer valances that are backordered  from JC Penney's and are to be in on or before Aug. 25th. I think once I get them up over the white/black sheers that it will make the window look really nice.

I am really liking our new bedroom outfit. I still have alot of items to go through and decide on what I want to put in the last 3 drawers in the mirrored dresser. Sometime down the road we might need to get a chest of drawers. We will have to see how it goes. I have our master closet to go through. Maybe once I get through everything in there, we could place a chest of drawers inside our walk in closet. Right now, there isn't room for much of anything in there. It's a real mess, I'm ashamed to say. It ends up being a catch all for this item and for that item, and before one knows, it's a really big mess, but it needs to be done and gone through, and I know that I'll feel so much better once it is, that's for sure! Have you ever felt that way about your closets too? Please tell me that I'm not the only one out there who has a messy ol master closet!

You all have a great evening, and hope that you all are doing well! Take care and thank you so much for stopping by and visiting.

Blessings,
~Lynn

Hey, Hey, What's That Sound??

Hi Everyone! I have just spent about an hour or so just sitting outside on my wicker loveseat on our front porch. I was just listening to all the birds and different sounds out there. Soooo very relaxing for me to just settle back and close my eyes and take it all in! Have I mentioned on my blog lately how much I love my front porch and wicker furniture? Well, I most certainly do, that's for sure! Thank you for them Hubby!
~I sure could use a pedi that's for sure!~

~Kitty Kat is keeping me company too before it gets to be too hot out~

~The wetness on the sidewalk is left there from me watering our flowers.~

~Kitty Kat looks sooo comfortable lying there in the shade~

~Our yard is in dire need of a good rain!~

~Our wicker set on our front porch~
Oh my, it is 94* out side now, and we are suppose to get up to 101* today, with a heat index of 105*. and then be in the 3 digit's for the rest of the week. Sooo hot!! I love the summer warm weather, but this heat is kind of too hot for my liking! I've never seen it so hot here in all the years we've lived here! Thank goodness for our air conditioning! We did have our electric go out a couple days ago for about an hour or so. Needless to say I was sooo happy when it came back on! So were my neighbors!

Hope you all are doing good and surviving the hot weather if you're having some of it too!

Thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving me such kind comments.

~May 1st Prayer~

Now I lay me down to sleep.. one less terrorist this world does keep... with all my heart I give my thanks... to those in uniform regardless of ranks...you serve our country and serve it well... with humble hearts your stories tell...so as I rest my weary eyes...while freedom rings our flag still flies...you give your all, do what you must....with God we live and God we trust.... Amen..

One of my friends posted this on facebook, and I thought I'd share it with you, here on my blog...

~My New Found Treasure!~

Dan and I stopped at an antique shop Sunday and I happened to come across this beauty! I love sunflowers almost as much as I love roses!!

Beef Bulgogi

B
Bibimbap that Dan Orders..

We went to church on Sunday and then met Daniel and Stacy up at Dong A's for lunch.. We had a real nice time together! Was real nice that Stacy was able to join us for lunch there too! Daniel and Stacy had the beef bulgogi and I had the Chicken Teriayki and Dan had the veggie mix with beef...

Charleston's Restaurant

Sirloin steak and baked potato

I hope you all had a real nice weekend! We did! Saturday afternoon, Dan and I went to go see *Unkown* starring Liam Neeson at the Warren movie theater.. It was real good and definately had lots of action throughout the movie! We shared a medium sized pop corn, that of course had to have the added butter, and  we also shared a large diet coke... Then after the movie was over,  we went to Charleston's Restaurant for dinner... We both had their 10 oz. top sirloin steak special, and it was absolutely delishious! Mmmmmm sooo tender and seasoned just perfect!! We also had their salad with added croissant, and the seasoned carrots that are sooo yummy there too! I really love the atmosphere at Charleston's... Very inviting! Not a very diet friendly outing day I've got to admit... but, I think it was well worth using my extra points for!

Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by and visiting with me today!

Blessings,
~Lynn

~I Just Don't Want To Hear It!!!!~

Good Morning~
The news weather forecasters are saying that we are going to get 6-10" of new snow coming in Tuesday night into Wednesday.. So, more ice and snow on our streets and highways... I hate to keep on complaining here, but, come on..... enough is enough!! This lady is sooo ready for SPRING to get here and stay for awhile!!

But anyhow, Dan and I watched the Super Bowl game, and it was exciting to say the least! I only wish that our team, the Pittsburgh Steelers would have won...but, that's okay.. Maybe at another time, given another chance to play there, they just might win... Congrat's to the Packers Team and to all of the Packers fans! I think both teams looked real good, and played their best!! They made it exciting for Dan and I to watch, that's for sure!! Who ever would have thought that this lady would get sooo excited over a SUPER BOWL game?? I've learned to love watching football games starting out when I was 17 years old, clear up to the present time... Each time I watch one, I learn a little bit more about it!

Everyone have a great Monday and hope that it's a wonderful start of a great week for you!! Thank you for stopping by and for leaving me such kind comments! I'd also like to say ~Welcome~ to all my new followers, and a BIG Hello to all of my followers! ♥♥

Thank you all for the sweet comments about my new red purse! I've got to share here with you all.. Shortly after Dan and I got in our seats at Church, a lady around my age was sitting to my left, and I no sooner got my purse set down till she was telling me what a very pretty and attractive red purse I had... WOW!! How neat!! I was so tickled to know someone else thought that it was very attractive too, just like you all who have left me a sweet comment telling me so! You all are so kind!♥ and...I really have got to say, that it is even more so attractive in person!! I am so glad I ordered one from Lynn that day!!

~One For Me!! Well, Really Two, But, Who's Counting!! I Am!!

Good Morning~

We had a real nice weekend, and I hope you all did too! Saturday Dan was called out on a job, so, I just piddled around the house, doing small jobs here and there and then Sunday we went to Church and then out to meet Daniel for lunch at Dong A's.. I ordered Chicken Teriyaki, Dan had a vegetable dish that is called Bi Bim Bop, and Daniel ordered Beef Bulgogi..

Dan had their ~ Bi Bim Bop~
I had their ~ Chicken Teriyaki~
Daniel had their ~Beef Bulgogi~
Everything was soo good! We really like going there because of the good food of course, and the atmosphere, and we can sit and enjoy our meal without feeling like we're being rushed to do so, like alot of our other favorite restaurants usually have us feeling. Sure enjoyed seeing and spending time with Daniel. We didn't get to have Sunday lunch with his last Sunday as it was his PT weekend.. I always like it when we get together to enjoy a meal and get caught up.. Then we left the parking lot and went our own ways... Dan and I took a little ride to find the neat home consignment shop that I found shortly before Christmas.. It's called The ~Bronze Leaf~,
and it sure has alot of neat used items inside. I will share another post about this place real soon!! They are closed Sunday's, but I sure am anxious to go visit there again! Then Dan and I came home and relaxed for awhile. Around 6pm or so we decided to go to Johnnie's

and get our favorite lettuce salad.. It has dried cranberries, some walnuts, madrian oranges, and fetta cheese on the top and served with a triangle piece of bread that is ohhh so good! They also serve it with the cranberry dressing on the side which is quite tasty too! After we ate we drove back home and decided to play bowling on our Wii!! Guess What!! The very first game we played I beat my Hubby!! Here's my proof!!

I don't do this too often, so when I do, you better believe that I've got to share it with you all!! I think this is only the second time I've beat him... Needles to say, the other 3 games that we played after this one, Dan won them, but, I had my moment of winning while it lasted!  :)    We really do enjoy playing this game, and it is pretty good exercise for us both too!

Today, I've got a dr's appointment to get the sore that keeps coming back just below my lip checked.. My dr. had me on an antibiotic back in November for it, and it did go away, and now it's back.. I think I might be allergic to my toothpaste that has scope in it or some of the lotioned puff tissues that I've been using. I really don't know, but it sure does get discouraging.. I wish it would just go and stay away.. Here's what it looks like.. This picture is of the first time that it came on my face. This is the third time that it has gone away only to reappear.. I don't wear makeup so that wouldn't be what's causing it.. I don't have a clue..

I'd like to say ♥Welcome♥ to all my new followers! I am so glad to meet you and have you as one of my followers!

I tried to behave myself today as far as eating goes.. I sure would like to see another weight loss when I go to my Weight Watcher's meeting Wednesday... I'm going to try to be real good till then, well after then too.. Ha!

You all have a great Monday! Take care... Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting me and for leaving me such kind comments~ You all are the best!! ♥♥

Blessings,
~Lynn

I am really on countdown now! I'm sure I'll have it all done on time, as I always seem to do, but, sometimes I just can't help but wonder if I will get it all done or not!! Bet some of you have felt the same way sometimes, right

You all have a wonderful and blessed day!! Take care..

~Sharing An Email My Friend Sent To Me~

Good Morning!

My goodness, here it is Monday again already! Hope you all had a real good weekend! We had a good one! Saturday I did just a little more Christmas decorating inside and then on Sunday we helped watch Daniel's girlfriend Stacy's two kids, Racheal, who is 6 and Jake who is 4, here at our house. They are both real good kids. We had lots of fun watching Christmas movies, and playing with playdoh and drawing Christmas pictures to display on our fridge door!

~The little birdie in it's nest that Racheal made out of playdoh~
~This is the little birdie in it's nest that Racheal made sitting in our Christmas tree ~ The bird nest to the left of it gave her the inspiration to make one for on my tree..~ She's an artist in the making!!~

~Rachael's beautiful drawings~

We all really enjoyed! After Stacy was all done with what she had to get done, she and Daniel came back here and I fixed lunch for everyone! We had spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread and mac and cheese and hot dogs! That way I was sure to have something that everyone just might like to eat!  ;)

My friend sent me this in an email today.. I thought I'd share with you too...

**This week, I found out.

From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Someone during that era wrote this carol as a catechism song for young Catholics. It has two levels of meaning: the surface meaning plus a hidden meaning known only to members of their church. Each element in the carol has a code word for a religious reality which the children could remember.

-The partridge in a pear tree was Jesus Christ.

-Two turtle doves were the Old and New Testaments.

-Three French hens stood for faith, hope and love.-

-The four calling birds were the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.

-The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament.

-The six geese a-laying stood for the six days of creation.

-Seven swans a-swimming represented the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit--Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy.

-The eight maids a-milking were the eight beatitudes.

-Nine ladies dancing were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit--Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control.

-The ten lords a-leaping were the ten commandments.

-The eleven pipers piping stood for the eleven faithful disciples.

-The twelve drummers drumming symbolized the twelve points of belief in the Apostles' Creed.

Have a wonderful day!

~GOOD MONDAY AFTERNOON!~

Good Monday afternoon to you! I hope you had a nice weekend. Dan and I didn't do much of anything on Saturday. We went to Church on Sunday, and then we went to Dong A for lunch with Daniel and his friend Tim.. I ordered the Beef Bulgogi... Everything was real good as always!

Here it is the last week of September already! These months and days are just totally flying by! Tomorrow I've got to go to Weight Watcher's, as I haven't been there all month, and Lord really knows that I want to still keep my Lifetime membership there, as I have some needed pounds that I'd like to come off!!

Sunday, Dan and I went shopping at JC Penny's and got in on alot of good deals! I found some real neat looking placemats that I now have on my table.. I also found a real pretty white plate with a leaf etching that I used to place some fall gourds in.. I found a few pretty summer tops too!!

Here is a closeup picture of one of the placemats..
The placemats are like daisy designed and interconnected..The place mats are made out of wood pieces..  Real pretty! Just something new and different for me to look at and enjoy...

You all have a great day and Thank You so much for stopping by and visiting!

Blessings,
~Lynn
