~The Sun's On!~

Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a good weekend! I thought that I'd share a few pictures with you today of my hanging chandelier that is in my diningroom and some other miscellaneous pictures with you..  Be sure to click on each picture if you'd like, as it makes it easier to see the details in each picture..
This is my ~FREE~ Chandalier that I purchased with the gift card that I won from a CSN giveaway..

I really think it looks pretty hanging in my diningroom..

My display above my cabinets... The clear glass platter I've had since I was 16 years old. I received it along with my Beautiful home made Birthday Cake placed on it from my ~then~ boyfriend's Mom... I thought that was so sweet and kind of her to do that for me, and decided right then and there, that I would keep this special platter forever...and there she sits within my display today! It sits right there in the center of my display!

I  found this beautiful tray at the GW store, not very long ago.. As you see, the angel is playing her stringed instrument.. I love Angel items..

It's a beautiful morning in my neighborhood today, looking south... This was taken around 8:15am...

This is another picture of the beautiful blue sky looking west...
I'm pretty sure that I see some seedlings on my Bradford Pear Tree...  :)
I hope you all are enjoying your weekend! Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting!

Oh, and when my daughter, Michele was 4 1/2 years old or so, our plane landed at the Philadelphia airport from Germany. My brother and sister in law, Ralph and Judy, drove from Erie, Pa. to Philadelphia, Pa. to pick Michele and me up, so that we all could be together for the ride back home. We always were real close, and couldn't wait to see each other! We stayed over night at a motel near the airport, and when the sun came up early the next morning, Michele woke up and said in a real excited voice... "Hey Uncle Ralph, The Sun's on"!! It was so cute the way she said it.. I can almost hear her saying that as I type this morning... even though it's been almost 41 years ago.. She was ready to get in the car and have her Uncle Ralph drive so she could see and be with her cousins, Shawn, and Shannon at their house... This is how I arrived at my Title for Today's Post...
Have a good one!!
Blessings,
~Lynn

GOOD SATURDAY MORNING EVERYONE!

I hope everyone is doing well and having a great weekend so far! I know I feel a whole bunch better than I did a few days ago, since I was soo dreading having my stress test done and all! But, all is good till I hear otherwise! I really want to say ♥Thank You♥ a whole bunch to all of you who had me in your thoughts and prayers! That means ever so much to me! Thank you! I love you all!

I did manage to go to Hobby Lobby again yesterday after my Hubby and I had lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, called the Jin Wei Chinese restaurant. MMmmmm, soo good!! I felt really good after having my stress testing exercise done, and thought to myself that I'd just stop in at Hobby Lobby on my way home.. I had mentioned this metal bike wall hanging to my Hubby, and he said to go get it if I wanted, so, that's what I did! Like I said, I always find something I like whenever I go in there, that's why I try not to go shopping there real often, or else I'd definately run out of room in my home, trying to find a place for everything!

I really love the metal and woven basket watering can and matching basket! My Hubby said he really liked them too! I love collecting watering cans and woven baskets along with my collection of roosters, sunflowers, candles, etc..! I did notice that Hobby Lobby had lots and lots of beautiful rooster figurines, but I can honestly say that I just don't have anywhere that I can display them! Hmmmm, maybe I ought to see if my Hubby would build me a long retangle shelf to sit in between my back door and corner windows in my diningroom! That really would give me more space for some more pretty roosters to sit! How bout that!! I'd really love to have a nice sized sunporch instead, if I had the choice. I absolutely fell in love with Tammy's (www.countrygirlathome.blogspot.com) sunporch that she shared pictures of! It's beautiful! Tammy and Jason did a real gorgeous job!! They both really like it alot!

Not sure what's on our agenda for today yet. It is such a beautiful, sunshiny day out so far! I think we did decide last evening, that we might just dilly dally around the home for awhile and see what all we can get accomplished. There's yard work, our laundry, housework, etc..that needs done, and today might be the day for doing some of it, if not all of it, which is okay with me, as that gives me my free time during the week to just take it easy, which works out great for me too!

Thank you all so much for visiting my blog! I appreciate each and every one of you! You all are the very best!!

Have a great & wonderful weekend!

Blessings,
~Lynn
