Great News!

Hello my dear family and friends. So sorry that I haven't posted more on my blog lately, but my Hubby and I have been real busy trying to get everything out of our masterbedroom so that we will have enough room for our NEW bedroom set to arrive. What a job!! Got a phone call today and Matt from Bob Mills says our complete bedroom set is there and that they can deliver it on Friday! WooHoo!! I am sooo excited!  We are getting the queen sized bed, two night stands, mirror and dresser and then the media center table. Then on Friday, our NEW storm door is to be installed on our front door! It is black vinyl with a bronze shaped oval in the middle of the storm door. Again, I am sooo excited! This will be the first bedroom set that my Hubby and I have owned that all match! I will share pictures with you once it all gets here and I get everything back in order.

Hope you all have had a great Tuesday! We got some much needed rain today! We made an all time record for rain amount on today's date. Really pretty neat!

 These items are more than likely no longer available now, as some of these pictures were taken quite some time ago.. but I just wanted to share some of their beautiful items and gorgeous decorating that goes on inside their shop. It is so very tastefully done and quite inviting, don't you agree? And the items that are for sale are really in immaculate condition!

She has lots and lots of beautiful pictures showing her consignment items that she's had in her store.. They have been in business for 3 1/2 years.. I am so glad that I happened to find her shop that one particular day when I was out and about..and decided that I'd go in and check it out!

Not sure what's on my agenda for today... Hmmmm, I just might go and visit The Bronze Leaf Shop today!!  Just might have to put that at the TOP of my Things To Do List for Today!!  :) I'll be sure to let you know if I did, no doubt about that!

It is only to get like 40 degrees out for our high today...  I think we are suppose to have some snow, sleet and ice coming our way here Wednesday evening into Thursday..  We could really do without the sleet and ice for sure!

~OOOhhhh Hohumbug!!~

Good Morning! My goodness, here it is, the 21st of December already! I still have lots of things I need to do before Christmas Day gets here! I don't know why exactly, but, I just feel kind of.... blahhh... hohumbugish today! Anyone else feeling this way too?? I don't seem to have any more drive or energy left that one needs to wrap presents, bake or, get dressed..... Now that's pretty dog gone bad! Guess I'll just have to spend the rest of the day and week in my jammies!! Just kidding!! Oh, no, don't ya fear, I will snap out of this hohumbugish feeling sooner or later.. probably as soon as I get myself ready for the day here!  ;)

This past week my hubby got my chandelier in the diningroom up... I won $60 on a CSN giveaway from one of my blogging friends quite a while ago and decided to go for this one.. I love the look of wrought iron... I have several items throughout my home that are wrought iron.. I'll have to share some pictures of those in another post sometime.. My candle holders are wrought iron in this picture....

~Not As Bad As I Had Thought It'd Be~

Hello! Well today I went to my Weight Watcher's meeting... and I did gain 4 1/2 pounds while I was on vacation, but, I am now back on track, starting today and hopefully will be on the losing end of my weight loss regimen again.. I didn't gain as much weight as I thought I would though, which was really great! I left my meeting today, feeling not so guilty about my weight gain! I even walked back to my car with a bounce in my step...  I feel great!!  I think I done good for being off my weight watcher's for about a little over a month! But, I must say it seems really great to be back on track once again with my Weight Watcher's way of life eating too! I enjoyed all and everything that I had to eat while on vacation, no doubt about that whatsoever!! It all tasted sooo delish!!  A great BIG "Thank You" to all the great cooks who cooked for me! I highly enjoyed every single bite!!

~I JUST LOVE PENGUINS, DON'T YOU?~

I thought that I'd share something I found on these little guys! Everytime I go to a place where they have penguins, I always make it a point to see them! They've always been one of my most fave's!! Thought you all would enjoy them too, and just possibly they could give you a sense of ~Coolness~ during this hot and humid weather! Enjoy!

Here's a little info on them too!

Little Man in a Tuxedo: Who doesn't like to watch "the little man in a tuxedo" parading around a landscape of ice? Their hesitant waddle on land, however, belies a penguin's ability in the water. With streamlined bodies, a thick coat that keeps out the cold and repels water, and flipperlike wings, naturally penguins spend most of their lives in the water.

Penguin Parenthood: Penguins breed in colonies, and males and females take turns tending to the one or two eggs that are laid per season. While the off-duty parent goes in search of food, the guardian parent supports the egg between the top of its feet and a thick fold of skin that hangs from its belly to keep the incubating egg warm.

From Emperor to Little: The largest penguin is the emperor penguin and is recognizable, not only by its nearly 4-foot height, but by the yellow, gray and black markings of the upper body and wings. The little penguin is the smallest of its kind at barely 16 inches high.

Built-In Waterproofing: Penguins preen their feathers meticulously to maintain insulation and waterproofing. A gland near the penguin's tail secretes oil into its feathers, which the bird will spread thoroughly while preening.

I almost forgot to mention that today is my Weigh In and meeting at Weight Watcher's! I had a .4 loss last week, and I sure am hoping for any kind of a loss today when I go! I haven't been working as hard as I know I should have at trying to lose this past week... Hopefully I can get into geer starting TODAY!

I Need Some Ideas On What To Put Inside My Glass Cloche..

I found a glass cloche and don't have a clue as how to decorate it on the inside.. It looks to be the size of one that is a cheese cloche.. and the lid isn't very tall on it. Seems like anything I've thought of putting inside has been too big. I'd love it if you'd share your neat decorating ideas for it with me! Thanks!!

Gorgeous Tuesday In Phoenix!

Good Morning!
I had a really wonderful time with Michele and Jamie before Jamie left to go back to Ca. last Sunday. We a had a real nice few hours together each day, which was great! So much better than not being able to see or spend time with him, that's for sure! I am so glad that Jamie wasn't assigned alot of study/paper writing time while he was here! We all went to a couple wonderful restaurants each day for our suppers.. One was PF CHANGS, and the other restaurant was Mastro's Ocean Club. It was sooo delish, and the service was wonderful! We even found a little time to shop afterwards too! We always have loved shopping/window shopping together!
It was very hard saying our goodbye's Saturday evening! I always dread those! Hopefully, Jamie will be coming out my way in a few months, after his school lets out for summer vacation. I've got my fingers crossed!

Michele and I had a buch of fun shopping together too yesterday! I found a few items that I just HAD to have! I'm sure you have those times while out shopping too! We shopped at JC Penney's and Christopher and Banks, along with some other departments in the Mall too! We had a really great time!

Michele is at work now.. I am glad she has her two puppy dogs here to keep me company while she can't be here. She has a min pin named Sonny, and a mix breed named Riley.. They both are so well behaved. I'll share pictures of them on my blog once I'm back home..

Michele is hoping to take me to Sedona, as she and Jamie both said how beautiful it is there, but, she's not real sure if we'll make it or not because of all the snow and cold weather they have been having. We will have to wait and see.. She would like to go when it'd be nicer out..as then all the beauty there would be more visable. The Camelback Mts. are really beautiful! When we are out and about, it really does feel like I could touch them from riding inside the car.

I'm not going to go to Weight Watcher's today. Maybe I'll go later on one day this week..just to get weighed in. I think that I've been doing good so far! I've been trying to be good at all my choices so far!

Please keep Dan's (Yesterday Once More) SIL & family in your prayers. Her Mom passed away from a horrible fall down the stairs that she had.. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family during this most difficult time.

I'd also like prayers said for Donna at One Simple Country Girl, at the loss of her family dog. It is very hard losing one's pet, as they are like a family member to us too.

WHERE THERE'S A WILL...THERE'S A WAY..

Good Tuesday Morning!
I sure hope everyone had a great weekend and 3 day one if you had yesterday off work too! Daniel had yesterday off from his workplace and we spent some time together.. He has a Wii system and he asked me if I'd like to see how it works, and of course I said YES!!" We played tennis, baseball, bowled, and I watched him play boxing, which totally wore me out just watching all the moves he made while playing it! It was alot of fun I must say, trying these games out! I really loved the bowling and tennis games! I have heard some of the people at my weight watcher's meeting mention about the Wii Fit. I don't know what all this game is about, but, it too, sounds like it'd be interesting and really would give one a good work out! I think Daniel ought to have Dad check out the Wii too and see if it'd be something he might be interested in having. Both of us need to have something we'd like to do, that would get us off the couch and get us moving!! You know, other than what taking a walk would do for us, as I know that is real good exercise..

Ayhow, I had a real nice time visiting with Daniel yesterday! I'm hoping we can get together again sometime before Friday, as Friday is when I fly the friendly skies to Arizona to see Michele and Jamie!

I sure am going to keep thinking positive about my saying here that I posted! I sure do have the will, but, I think I've kinda got lost somewhere along the way this past week, as Frito's was my enemy this week! I wish I could just tell myself NO, but no way... I just sit there in my recliner holding the bag and eat them! ( I am sooo not disaplined!) I get sooo mad at myself for being so stupid sometimes! I never, ever thought that watching one's weight would be soo hard for one to do! So, I don't think I'll have any loss of weight today when I go get weighed in, and I sure hope I didn't gain any either! I've got to get back on track, starting again today!!

I hope you enjoy the songs that are playing! These are some of my favorites! I was surprised that I figured out how to post them on my blog all by myself! Now that's a real stepping stone for this lady too! Darn, I just noticed that some of the songs aren't playing all the way like they ought to.. I will have to check on how to fix this later on.. IT'S A BEAUTIFUL SUN SHINY TUESDAY MORNING!

But....it is sooo cold out!! It's 20 degrees out.. Brrrr.. But, that's okay.. as I love looking out my windows and seeing the gorgeous blue sky and sun shine out there, no matter if it's warm or cold out.. There's just something about seeing the blue sky and sunshine that makes a beautiful start to my day! ♥

I've got a few errands to run today AFTER I go to my weight watcher's meeting! I've kinda sorta been on good behavior this past week.. I have been watching my portion sizes and paid more attention to what I've been eating all week.. I've not had any of my favorite snacks, other than the weight watcher ones.. Thank goodness I had those!! I do have to get back into tracking of what I eat and write it in my journal.. I've been slipping up on doing that lately.. I am hoping for a weight loss no matter how small it might be..
