Started My Blog January 12. 2010

I had my stress test done in March..

I had my Heart Catherization done at the Heart Hospital Here on April 13, 2010..

Had my first giveaway in May..

My grand daughter Autumn Marie graduated from High School in June, 2010. Got to see her dad, our son Jamie, and  my two great grand kids for a few days while I was in Texas too!

Dan's and My 26th Wedding Anniversary♥♥ was on July 28th, in which we drove around to see a couple neat sites not too very far away from home.. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a really great time!

August I celebrated my Birthday and then went to California for 3 weeks to visit and stay with Michele and Jamie.. Got to see and do alot of neat things together! Lots of fun... really enjoyed, as I always do!!

September I came back home...

October, Dan got his long awaited for SHED!! Needless tosay... He loves it!!

November,  Dan installed our new porch railings and black shutters on our front window... Love them!! Makes such a big difference on our front porch! Thank You Hubby!!

♥Merry Christmas Everyone♥!!

Christmas At Our House~

Good Morning!
We had a real nice Christmas at our house! Our youngest son Daniel and his girlfriend Stacy and her two children celebrated Christmas Day and our Christmas meal with us! Stacy's two children are ages 6 and 4, the oldest being Rachael and the youngest is Jake..  Had a real nice time and lots of fun opening christmas gifts all together. Our middle son Jamie called us to wish us a Merry Christmas. He sent me a beautiful silver family photo tree. I can't wait to get our family photo's in it! Daniel got me a beautiful mother of pearl watch and one of my most favorite scents and lotions to wear... Heavenly by Dream Angels.. Michele got her Dad and I each a book light, so we can read and not bother the other person when we're reading in bed and some shoe grippers for going over our shoes when we have snow and ice out.. These all will come in real handy for us! Stacy gave me lots of pictures of her, Daniel, Rachael and Jake that they had taken for Christmas... So pretty! Rachael and Jake made us some real nice Christmas Cards, Jake's was a green one, and Rachael's was a red one... Soo  festive looking!  Dan got me my Japanese Cherry Blossom shower gels, sprays and lotions, Passion by Elizabeth Taylor, Chloe Narcisse, a beautiful Black Forest double heart necklace, a beautiful diamond necklace, beautiful diamond pierced earrings, a gift card to Borders, and a beautiful Christmas card.. Daniel got his Dad a Taylor (guitar maker) emblemed fleeced jacket, Taylor emblemed polishing cloth, and some Taylor emblemed guitar picks, and a 6 pack of his Dad's favorite brew, and Jamie got his Dad a digital photo key ring that he'll have with him at all times, but especially when he has to be away from his family, but will still be able to have us all with him.
Here are some pictures of the wonderful presents my husband and I received.. Thank you so much Michele, Jamie, Daniel, Stacy, Rachael, Jake, Doris & Steve, and my Hubby!! ♥ you all!!

~OOOhhhh Hohumbug!!~

Good Morning! My goodness, here it is, the 21st of December already! I still have lots of things I need to do before Christmas Day gets here! I don't know why exactly, but, I just feel kind of.... blahhh... hohumbugish today! Anyone else feeling this way too?? I don't seem to have any more drive or energy left that one needs to wrap presents, bake or, get dressed..... Now that's pretty dog gone bad! Guess I'll just have to spend the rest of the day and week in my jammies!! Just kidding!! Oh, no, don't ya fear, I will snap out of this hohumbugish feeling sooner or later.. probably as soon as I get myself ready for the day here!  ;)

This past week my hubby got my chandelier in the diningroom up... I won $60 on a CSN giveaway from one of my blogging friends quite a while ago and decided to go for this one.. I love the look of wrought iron... I have several items throughout my home that are wrought iron.. I'll have to share some pictures of those in another post sometime.. My candle holders are wrought iron in this picture....
~It is centered above our diningroom table~

Well, guess I have got to get into action here...before I totally give up on my getting anything accomplished today!

I am really on countdown now! I'm sure I'll have it all done on time, as I always seem to do, but, sometimes I just can't help but wonder if I will get it all done or not!! Bet some of you have felt the same way sometimes, right

You all have a wonderful and blessed day!! Take care..

~Something Fishy Goin On Here!~

Good Morning~
Are you almost or already all done with your Chritstmas shopping? Got it all wrapped and under the tree yet, or have you sent it out to your family and love one's yet?  My husband and I got our granddaughter's and great grandchildren's wrapped and sent out yesterday, and then we are sending out our son and daughter's today.. Then, we'll just have Daniel to wrap for, along with a few things for his girlfriend and her two children.. Shouldn't take us too long.. I'm getting there by golly!

I did find a couple extra hours to get my hair cut and colored Tuesday.. Have received a few compliments on it already, which really makes me feel quite good! I don't have a picture of my new do yet, but I do have a couple of pictures that I wanted to share with you. This is on the inside of where I go to get my hair done at.. It is called Hair Rage IV, and I love going there! Be sure to click on the pictures to make each one larger and better to see.. Thanks, and hope you enjoy them.

~This cement slap reminds me of a bridge that goes over the pond where the 6 fish are. The beautiful looking and  sounding water falls, fall over the rocks on the right side of this picture~

~These are 3 of the live fishes! Did you notice the black with orange one there on the left? I guess he's quite the jumper when it comes to feeding time!~ Wonder if his black/orange coloring represents the OSU football team?

~Time to eat everybody!!~

~I just love the way they have their stations all set up, especially for Christmas! I really love their furniture at the stations! Sooo pretty, and definately my style!!~

I also wanted to share that I went to my Weight Watcher's meeting yesterday, and I lost some weight! WooHoo!! That's a step in the right direction for me, that's for sure! I think I might just like this new Points Plus Weight Watcher's just started!!
You all have a great Thursday!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! Thank you to all of my new followers of my blog too! Welcome!!

~Sharing An Email My Friend Sent To Me~

Good Morning!

My goodness, here it is Monday again already! Hope you all had a real good weekend! We had a good one! Saturday I did just a little more Christmas decorating inside and then on Sunday we helped watch Daniel's girlfriend Stacy's two kids, Racheal, who is 6 and Jake who is 4, here at our house. They are both real good kids. We had lots of fun watching Christmas movies, and playing with playdoh and drawing Christmas pictures to display on our fridge door!

~The little birdie in it's nest that Racheal made out of playdoh~
~This is the little birdie in it's nest that Racheal made sitting in our Christmas tree ~ The bird nest to the left of it gave her the inspiration to make one for on my tree..~ She's an artist in the making!!~

~Rachael's beautiful drawings~

We all really enjoyed! After Stacy was all done with what she had to get done, she and Daniel came back here and I fixed lunch for everyone! We had spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread and mac and cheese and hot dogs! That way I was sure to have something that everyone just might like to eat!  ;)

My friend sent me this in an email today.. I thought I'd share with you too...

**This week, I found out.

From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Someone during that era wrote this carol as a catechism song for young Catholics. It has two levels of meaning: the surface meaning plus a hidden meaning known only to members of their church. Each element in the carol has a code word for a religious reality which the children could remember.

-The partridge in a pear tree was Jesus Christ.

-Two turtle doves were the Old and New Testaments.

-Three French hens stood for faith, hope and love.-

-The four calling birds were the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.

-The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament.

-The six geese a-laying stood for the six days of creation.

-Seven swans a-swimming represented the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit--Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy.

-The eight maids a-milking were the eight beatitudes.

-Nine ladies dancing were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit--Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control.

-The ten lords a-leaping were the ten commandments.

-The eleven pipers piping stood for the eleven faithful disciples.

-The twelve drummers drumming symbolized the twelve points of belief in the Apostles' Creed.

Have a wonderful day!

~Sharing A Few More Of My Christmas Decorating Pictures With You~

Good Morning,
I was beginning to wonder if the sun was going to shine here today.. but, it is, kinda, sorta! I love looking out my windows and seeing sunshine! I remember doing the same thing when I lived back in Pa. during this time of the year.(Really anytime of the year!) Even though we had snow on the ground, just having the sun shining made the snow sparkle and look all the more beautiful than what it already was!  I hope the sun is shining big time where you are now too!

I got a bit more Christmas decorating done yesterday, and thought that I'd share some pictures with you.

~I Finally Did It!!~

Good Morning,
~The Church ornament Michele painted, the sparkling signature red ball ornament Jamie made, the small bell and sheep Daniel made~ These have been on all of our Christmas trees right from the time they made them to the present~

You can click on each picture to make the picture larger to view... Makes it easier to see the details...
I am sooo excited! I finally got our Christmas Tree put up and decorated! Unbelievable! It seems to have taken me forever, and this is our Skinny 6' Christmas Tree! My hubby was starting to put together our BIG tree, and we just don't have enough room to have it look nice, so, we took it apart and put our Skinny tree up, which I think fits the space a whole bunch better... I really like it sitting there in front of our picture window.. It's been a couple two or three Christmas's since we've had it there..

I haven't decided if I'm going shopping today, or if I'm going to work on putting some of my Christmasy knick-knacks out and about.. Hmmm.... Guess, we'll see!!

I've noticed alot of people are having that coughing and sneezing, headachy bug that is going around. I have such a dry cough, and it really takes off especially at night, when I'm in bed.. I pray that we all get to feeling like ourselves here before too long! Don't want anyone to not be feeling good over the Holiday's, that's for sure!

Hope you are having a good week so far... Mine has gone good... s-l-o-w...but good!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Blessings,
~Lynn
