~Weigh In Day Uh Ohhh....~

Good Morning~

Today is my Weight Watcher's weigh in and meeting day.. I am keeping my fingers crossed that their scales show some sort of a weight loss for me today! I've been trying to fix my plate as pictured... Trying to watch my portions on everything.. I will be finding how soon how good of a job I've done!

Hope you all have a great Wednesday! These days seems to be going even faster than what they did before our time change! That top I'm on seems to be going faster and faster and faster! Like I'm in a whirlwind!! WHEW!!

The kids around here are on their Spring Break this week.. When I was working on the school bus, I think I looked forward to having Spring Break off about as much, if not even more than what the kids did!! It was sooo much fun sharing their excitement of having it off with them!! Ohhh, the laughter and giggles we had going on in our bus was totally awesome!! I sure do miss that and them!! I enjoyed all the years that I worked there, that's for sure!

Look What All I Found!!

I went to The Bronze Leaf the other day and thought I'd share what I found with you all! Remember to click on each of the pictures to make them larger..and more detailed if you'd like to do so..

I love all the Blue Willow China! I am hoping to have my diningroom wall decorated with the Blue Willow China.. placing the platter in the middle and then have more china surrounding it.. I just love the look that Olive Garden and Zio's have with having their decorative plates hanging so pretty on their walls...

One can kind of see the Eiffel Tower on this mirror which is standing on the leftside of the mirror...

Now, here are just a few more pictures of items that I've got to redecorate our youngest son's bedroom with when I redo it to become our study/office in there.. My daughter, Michele and I and her father, who was in the US Army, lived in Schwetzingen, Germany for a year and a half, and we had the chance to go and visit Paris with our real good friends, Dave and Sue.. Dave was also stationed at the same Army base.. They were working on the Effel Tower the day we were there to visit, but we were able to go up to the second level, which was soooo awesome! We spent the night in Paris.. I also have my nice sized mirror that I want to hang in there too... along with my picture that looks like a stamped card sent from Paris..  

You see, when I was just a young little girl,  probably 8 or 9 years of age, I remember reading and seeing  somewhere in my geography book, a picture of the Eiffel Tower on one of the pages, and thought to myself... how great it would be to be able to see it.. sooo, I made 3 wishes, and one wish I made to myself, was being able to visit Paris and see the Eiffel Tower, knowing full well that in my wildest dreams it probably would never come true.. Well, lo and behold, it did come true!! I was so happy and sooo tearstruck when I laid my eyes on it! A little girl's dream coming true! I was 23 years old at the time I saw it.. Never give up on your dreams... Ever!!

~Agenda List!~

Good Morning~
 My hubby is on his way to feeling better! I'm so glad about that! He's almost back to his ol self, which is good!

Not sure what's on my agenda list for today.. but, I've got plenty on my to do list before leaving for Jamie's in less than a couple weeks.. Sure hope I get it all done! I've got to find me some shorts and/or capri's somewhere and possibly some new flip flops to take.. I'd like to get my hair trimmed and my color touched up, and I've got to go to my dr's and dentist appointments next week.. plus decide what clothes that I want to pack.. and go grocery shopping and maybe do some hit and miss cleaning around the house too before I leave..Whew!! Hopefully I will be able to get it all done by the time I've got to leave! I would also like to go shopping over at The Bronze Leaf Consignment Shop too, as they are closing their doors on March 31st..  I love their shop, as many others do too! We all are going to miss them, that's for sure!

It's such a nice, and sun shiny day out, that just possibly I might decide to get a few things done that are on my agenda list... like going shopping!! Hmmm... we shall see!!

These days are really going by fast!! I'll be boarding that plane to California before I know it!! I'm getting even more excited... Can you tell??!! Woo Whoo!!!

~Bug Guessing Game~

Good Morning~
I hope everyone is doing well.. There's some kind of bug that has my hubby down and out.. He's been sneezing and is congested.. has that all around achey yucky feeling about him.. I thought maybe it could be allergies, but he says it's the same thing he comes down with every year around this time, so.... I just hope he gets to feeling better real soon.

I hope I don't catch it, as I don't have any time to be sick.. I've got so much to do before leaving on my trip to Jamie's.. and that leaving date will be here before I know it!! I still haven't decided what all I should pack.. I don't have alot of summer clothes that fit me anymore since I've gained alot of my loss weight back.. I might have to buy me a few new clothes to take just so I'll have something that fits me and is comfortable to wear when we're in the Philippines.. I'll have to check out some of my favorite shopping places and see what they have out that catches my eye and has a decent price tag.. I don't want to spend alot, especially since I'm still trying to lose my extra weight and reach my goal weight for the second time round.. I got down to size 8, but am back up to a 12 now.. I had given all my size 12 clothes away as I didn't want to have them around here to have as a crutch, and gosh, I guess I should have kept them now.. I gave them all away... I hate the thoughts of having to buy some clothes that fit me now, but I don't think I have too much of a choice in that matter.. I do want to look nice and be able to be comfortable too..

We have a dreary overcast day out there so far today... No sunshine.. We've had a little rain drizzle. Makes one want to just stay put inside.. I like to shop when the sun is out and it's warm out.. not when it's cold and dreary.. So, more than not, this lady probably is going to just stay inside today..at least that's how I feel at this precise moment.

~Enuff Is Enuff!!~

Good Morning~
I hope your weekend is going good! My day has started out with  having 28*F out with a windchill making it feel like 15*F... Pretty cold I'd say!! Gosh, I am soooooo ready for this cold weather to be gone, as I can imagine alot of you are too!! I hate to sound like a broken record here, but, enuff is enuff!! I'm very thankful though that the sun is shining so nice when I look out my windows..  As long as we don't get any snow, I'll be able to handle this 'ol cold weather just fine!! This temperature isn't quite as cold as I've read some places are and have been around the US lately though...  I've always wanted to have a fireplace in my livingroom, and especially to have one on days like today!! I can see myself snuggled down in my comfy chair with my book or magazine, and  have a nice and warm crackling fireplace to look at.... Maybe someday I will...

~I'll Be Flying The Friendly Skies Soon!!~

Good Morning!
I am really getting excited!! I'm going to be going out to California to stay with my middle son, Jamie soon!! It's just me going, as my husband Dan, isn't too much for flying on an airplane, let alone flying on one to go overseas.. so, he'll be holding the fort down with our dogs Shelba and Zoe and our cat, Kitty Kat here at home! Jamie and his friend Michael, and I are going to fly over to the Philippines and stay there for awhile, and then fly back to California!! This will be Jamie's and my first trip to the Philippines and we are sooo excited!! I am so glad the guys asked me to go along with them!! Now, to figure out what all I should pack to take with me!! Wish me luck!!

I am really looking forward to my trip to California and The Philippines and I know Dan and Daniel will do great untill I get back home..  The way the days zoom by nowadays, I'll be back home at the blink of an eye! ;)  But, I know I'll miss them a bunch, as I always do when I'm away from them! I do the same thing when I'm at home and away from Jamie and Michele.. I always miss them a bunch too! It is hard having each one of us living in different states.. as one can't just hop in their car and go visit them on any given day or whim... since there are many miles in between us....  I am so thankful though, that I love to fly and that my health allows me to do so now too! One just never knows what's down the road for them... as far as anything is concerned.. I just take it one day at a time.. and make the best of that one certain day, as we aren't really promised  a tomorrow.. Our heart only has so many beats... and GOD only knows how many beats each one of our hearts has... So, we've really got to make the best of each day that GOD gives us!

I'm really getting alot of use out of the suitcases Michele got for her Dad and I, that's for sure !!

 I won't be able to see my daughter Michele this time when I go to California as I was really hoping to do, as she's living in Arizona now , sooo, .. I'll just have to make me some plans to stay with her for a few weeks sometime too!!

I do have a few weeks to be at home still before I'll be leaving to go on my trip, so I will be keeping in touch as much as I can till then, and then I will try to keep in touch while I'm on my trip...

We went to church on Sunday and then met Daniel and Stacy up at Dong A's for lunch.. We had a real nice time together! Was real nice that Stacy was able to join us for lunch there too! Daniel and Stacy had the beef bulgogi and I had the Chicken Teriayki and Dan had the veggie mix with beef...

I hope you all had a real nice weekend! We did! Saturday afternoon, Dan and I went to go see *Unkown* starring Liam Neeson at the Warren movie theater.. It was real good and definately had lots of action throughout the movie! We shared a medium sized pop corn, that of course had to have the added butter, and  we also shared a large diet coke... Then after the movie was over,  we went to Charleston's Restaurant for dinner... We both had their 10 oz. top sirloin steak special, and it was absolutely delishious! Mmmmmm sooo tender and seasoned just perfect!! We also had their salad with added croissant, and the seasoned carrots that are sooo yummy there too! I really love the atmosphere at Charleston's... Very inviting! Not a very diet friendly outing day I've got to admit... but, I think it was well worth using my extra points for!

Good Afternoon..

I hope you all had a good weekend, and also hope that those one's who have today off for President's Day are also enjoying their extra day off! We had a relaxing weekend, since Dan got home Saturday from his work.. We went to church Sunday and then went to Olive Garden and met Daniel there for lunch.. We had a real nice visit together..and the food was pretty tasty too! It had been awhile since we ate there.. Daniel had lasagna and Dan and I had the Tilapia...

Dan and I decided to stop by Borders Book store on our way home... then, we thought how good it would be to stop at Braum's and have a *small yogurt soft serve ice cream cone.. which we did, and it tasted sooooo good!! I love to get their vanilla/chocolate twist, and Dan always gets their chocolate cones. Then we came home and enjoyed our great tasting desert!

~Beautiful Red China~

Hello,

I thought that I'd share a few of my red china saucers with you that I have found at the Bronze Leaf Home Consignment Shop that I absolutely love to visit... as you all probably already know!  ;)

I just read at the beginning of this week on FaceBook that the Bronze Leaf Consignment Shop is going to be closing their doors.. I'm sooo sad!! I am so glad that I found them when I did, but, so sad they are closing their doors..  They've been at this business spot for 4 years..and to think that I just found them not too long ago.. I hardly ever travel down their street, so didn't come across seeing them, till that one day I found them, quite by accident.. They sure are both wonderful ladies to do business with and I have loved visiting their shop since the first time I went inside!

~I Just Don't Want To Hear It!!!!~

Good Morning~

The news weather forecasters are saying that we are going to get 6-10" of new snow coming in Tuesday night into Wednesday.. So, more ice and snow on our streets and highways... I hate to keep on complaining here, but, come on..... enough is enough!! This lady is sooo ready for SPRING to get here and stay for awhile!!

But anyhow, Dan and I watched the Super Bowl game, and it was exciting to say the least! I only wish that our team, the Pittsburgh Steelers would have won...but, that's okay.. Maybe at another time, given another chance to play there, they just might win... Congrat's to the Packers Team and to all of the Packers fans! I think both teams looked real good, and played their best!! They made it exciting for Dan and I to watch, that's for sure!! Who ever would have thought that this lady would get sooo excited over a SUPER BOWL game?? I've learned to love watching football games starting out when I was 17 years old, clear up to the present time... Each time I watch one, I learn a little bit more about it!

Thank you all for the sweet comments about my new red purse! I've got to share here with you all.. Shortly after Dan and I got in our seats at Church, a lady around my age was sitting to my left, and I no sooner got my purse set down till she was telling me what a very pretty and attractive red purse I had... WOW!! How neat!! I was so tickled to know someone else thought that it was very attractive too, just like you all who have left me a sweet comment telling me so! You all are so kind!♥ and...I really have got to say, that it is even more so attractive in person!! I am so glad I ordered one from Lynn that day!!

~Steelers Or Packers~..... and a NEW ~RED PURSE?~

Good Morning!
Are you going to be watching the Super Bowl Game in just a few hours from now? I'm sure we will be... Who are you cheering for to win? I've got my fingers crossed for the STEELERS!! They are my home state Team... being I am originally from Pennsylvania and all... and.... for the fact that they are a really great playing team!!

It won't be too long before we find out!!

Hope you all are having a great weekend!! I did venture out for a little bit by myself yesterday and picked up my new ~RED~ purse up at the Trenz Salon that I had ordered from Lynn who did my hair last Saturday... I love it!! In the middle part of the flower it is all sparkly rhinestones.. Sooo pretty! All the leafs are each individually sewed onto the purse.. There is sooo much room on the inside too!! Maybe now I can keep more organized inside my purse! ;) I noticed Lynn's lovely red purse sitting on her vanity desk in front of me when she turned my chair around and I commented on how pretty it was, and, Ta Da..... the rest is HISTORY! :)
