Good Morning!
I thank you all for the wonderful comments you wrote to me on my blog! I always love hearing from you all!
Dan and I had a real nice Sunday together for a few hours before he got called to go out on a job.. I am so grateful that we were able to attend Church, eat at Abuelo's and to go through the complete Banjo Museum together before his cell phone rang! That doesn't happen like that too often! Most of the time we get interrupted when we are out in about on our Saturday or Sunday drives..
The food at Abuelo's is soooo delishious! I had the Chicken Enchilada's and my hubby had a seafood dish, which looked real good too! Our waiter was so sweet and so was the manager for allowing me to take a few pictures at his restaurant. We happen to time it when they weren't quite as busy as they usually are, which worked out great for *picture taking!
My daughter Shel and her friend Amy were the first to introduce me to Abuelo's! Oh my gosh, I fell in love with it the first time I laid my eyes on it! When I was with them we ate in front of the statue that I took a picture of.. I just love the archways upstairs, greenery, and the whole overall atmosphere of the restaurant! The food definately matches their eye candy, that's for sure!!
We really enjoyed checking out the Banjo Museum too! All kinds of gorgeous banjo's inside! We saw alot of them and learned some new things about them too! My Dad and Dan's Dad also played a banjo.. I love hearing them played!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and for visiting our *Outing with us!
You all have a wonderful Monday!
Blessings,
~Lynn

Hi Lynn, This is my first visit to your blog and I can't wait to have more time to explore. I'm trying to drop in and say "hello" to everyone participating with me in Deb's Freedom Challenge. Thanks for visiting my blog and becoming a follower. Hope you'll come back. Is this, by any chance, the Abuelo's and Melting Pot in Oklahoma City? Had never been to OKC until 3 years ago, but have been back twice since that first visit and LOVE the city. We stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn Bricktown all three times and just had a great time roaming around. I'm not sure which I'm enjoying more about this blogging thing - the support in my weight loss battle or finding new "friends" all over the country. But then, why can't it be BOTH??
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit...I love the place..such a beautiful place to sit and be and eat...how awesome! :D

We will have to visit the Banjo Museum next time we are in the area.
