~Help Wanted~

Busy Laundry Day!!

I was just thinking of how nice it would be to have a helper on certain days... Like, laundry day, or  house cleaning day! Have you ever felt like that lately sometimes too?
It brings forth a treasured memory to my mind...

I remember back when our daughter Michele was always such a big helper for Mom, even when she was little But, in her early to mid teens,  she'd run the vaccum sweeper and do the dusting of furnitures for me,  even sometimes make supper for us on any given night that she wanted to surprise me when I got home from work..  I sure do miss having those together/closeness times nowadays!! Don't get me wrong, my hubby is such a real big helper when it comes to doing things around the house with and for me.. but, I just miss the together/closeness times that me and my daughter shared back close to 30 some years ago now.. If only we could stop time, just for a little while to savor more of that together here and now time when we are together! She's now grown into a beautiful young woman...  taking care of her own home and all...  I love to think back to when all of my kids were younger and on the times that we've shared and still are sharing together.. Precious times and precious memories alike!
Have a wonderful day! Thank you so much for visiting, and I always love and enjoy reading your comments that you leave for me!

Blessings,
~Lynn

  4. Lynn, don't you wish you could just wiggle your nose and stop time, go back to all those days that you just hurried through not understanding what was really important was not getting that next promotion or the next raise, but enjoying the loved ones in your life. I know I can't wiggle my nose so I just try to make every moment with them count and let them know as often as I can how very much I love them. Thanks so much for your prayers for traveling mercies. This is the best, easiest trip we have ever had.

  6. I know what you mean about turning back the clock. It seems the time has flown since my three daughters were home. I am blessed they all live close and I am a daily part of their lives , but sometimes I long for their sweet little selves to be up my stairs all tucked in their beds!
    Have a happy Thanksgiving!
