| ~Two Of The Many Soldiers Who Are Away From Their Family and Love Ones At Christmas~ |
Good Morning All,
I'm just sitting here with my morning cup of Christmas Blend coffee that I bought the buy one bag of Christmas Blend coffee, and get another bag free from Starbucks the other day, and just came across a very heart touching video about our military troops who are so far away from home during the holidays.. I thought that I'd share.. My son Daniel has shared with his Dad and I on how it was for him over in Iraq while he was there.. I just couldn't even begin to imagine how it'd be... I lived in Germany for 15 months, without many friends and no other family, except for my daughter Michele who was 3 at the time and my ex who was stationed in the Army. No where did I have any of the conditions and surroundings that our military troops face each and every day, and it was still quite hard for me.. I got down..and real depressed, especially on holidays, Holiday's which was normally shared with our family and love ones.. My heart and prayers goes out to all of our military soldiers! Thank you all so very much for all that you've already done and still are doing for my freedom and my country! I wish you all a very blessed Christmas...and for God to keep each and every one of you safe and bring you all safely back home real soon, back home to your family and love ones.

Have a wonderful day! I'm going to continue on with doing my Christmas decorating today... I'll share pictures once I have it all done, I promise~
Blessings,

We have a friend serving in Afghanistan and my son just returned from a tour on the coast of South America. My husband and I just boxed up a lot of goodies and sent them to our friend to give out to the soldiers. It wasn't much, but we wanted them to know someone cares and appreciates their sacrifice.

I truly understand your feelings. We went through that when our youngest son was over there and gone for 2 Christmas. I pray for our troops and feel so blessed that our son returned safely to us.
ReplyDeleteTake care
