| ~I'm Walking. Yes Indeed, and I'm Talking About You And Me And I'm Hoping That You'll Come Back To Me!! (Talking bout my goal weight!) ~ :) |
My hubby and I started walking over this past weekend, and now our son Daniel started walking (he runs and jogs mostly, while his dad and I walk) with us on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's.. I must say that I really do feel alot better since starting to walk a half hour per day.. My aim is to up this to an hour at a time out.. but a half hour is great for me just starting out.. Now, to keep this up will be a wonderful thing, especially now that it's the Fall season, and the really cold weather is right around the corner.. but... that's okay... I'll just dress for the weather!! I've got to keep staying positive and down the road I know that I will be a much better feeling person for doing so..and hopefully my weight loss will do a bunch better too!! :)
I am so glad that we all are out there walking and just being all together!! Means a whole bunch to this Mom and Wife!!
It was so nice having Daniel be home for supper as it's been awhile since we've all ate here at home together, as his and his dad's work schedules vary a bunch during the week sometimes.. and it's usually hard for me to plan a family supper time around them..but, sometimes, like today, they happen to work out just fine!! We always try to get together on Sunday's though for lunch after Church, except on the times when Daniel has his weekend military duty.. which is one weekend a month...

I totally agree. Walking in Autumn is brilliant because all the tree leaves are different colours, the air is fresh and cool and when you get home, it's great to feel warm again :)
ReplyDeleteI used to walk for 30 mins a day but now I have upped it to 1 hour. It took a while but now I am finding it a lot easier and really enjoyable.

I am giving it a try too Lynn. I really helps get rid of the pounds. The great thing is a can keep doing it when we go to AZ all winter. Hope to come home reaching goal in the spring. Yeah for you.

Tomorrow I will walk approx 8hours... I will be visiting a craft exhibition and I think I will have to walk a lot! LOL! LOL! LOL!
