Hi... Well today I was thinking about going to my Weight Watcher's meeting, but... I have decided to go next Tuesday instead, being that I need to only go once a month now anyhow, now that I'm a Lifetime Member.. I can't say that I'm totally thrilled over my decision, but... it'll be fine.. It'll give me another week to try and do better than what I've done these past couple of weeks.. Seems like I just can't get with the program, no matter how hard I try, or think that I might be trying.. I've got to get over this hump I've been in lately... Just been feeling blah... not a sick blah, but blah just the same..

I found out last Friday while getting my hair done, that my hairdresser/friend is moving.. far away from here.. at least 8 or 9 hours away from here or so.. She is the sweetiest and kindest person.. and does my hair exactly the way I like it too! Sandy and I met at one of the Weight Watcher meetings a few months back.. We've been trying to get together to walk, but, haven't made it there to do so yet, and now it looks like we won't be walking partner's after all.. I am so glad that we will still be able to stay in touch on FB and on my blog here, and through emails.. but, I'd just rather not have her be moving at all.., but I understand that her hubby has to go where his work speceify's for him to go work.. I told Sandy that the Lord planned for us to meet and become friends and that's why her hubby's workplace had for them to move to Oklahoma first.. God knows our hearts...and hears our prayers.. and I've been praying to meet a wonderful lady who would like to be my friend, and the Lord had Sandy and I meet, and she tells her ladies at her work that I was the first Oklahoma friend she had met when she first moved here.. She's such a sweetie.. I have been so blessed to have met such a wonderful and caring lady.
Sandy will be moving the end of this month..as they have to be moved to their new place and all by the first of November.. Please keep Sandy and her husband in our prayers for them to have safe travels to their new home and workplace..
Thank you all so much...
Have a wonderful Tuesday...
Blessings,
~Lynn
The internet has made long distance friendships so much easier than they once were. Praying God will bless Sandy and her husband on their upcoming move.
ReplyDeleteMy "kitties" are actually my cats who are about 3 1/2 to 4 yrs old. They seem to still have a lot of "kitten" in them, and are pretty rambunctious!
ReplyDeleteLynn,
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you're losing a good friend and great hairdresser to a move! Yes, the internet will help you stay connected!
Hope everything is well with you, Lynn!
Hugs,
Tammy
It is hard to live away from friends, but the internet and cell phones make it so much easier. I had a friend/neighbor I got to know through bible study and then she moved and I was sad. Good news is she moved back a year later. Now we walk almost every day and are even closer. God has better plans than we do!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the prayers for baby Ollie :)Appt is Monday so the prayer warriors are on it!
That's sad, I'm sorry she is moving away but with your lovely blog and FB you can still stay in touch and stay close and your visits will now be more special when you get together!
ReplyDeleteGive yourself a break with weight watchers..they will be there next week!
xxoo
