Good Morning!
Michele and I went to see the Montezuma Castle yesterday! Oh my goodness, how very awesome it was to see! To think that people actually stayed in the rooms there! I told Michele that I'd love to be able to climb up there just to have a peek inside the open chissled out windows, but, she said, "Mom, You're on your own"! So.. I just decided to take a few more pictures of the castle, but I sure would have loved to had a better view of what it looked like on the inside. I could just imagine how it must have been living back in those days. I told Michele that I don't think I'd make surviving back then, but, we all do seem to live ok in the era we are living in, so, I think I would have made it ok.. There'd be no other choice, but to do so! Right?
Then, we headed on to Sedona, Az. Talk about seeing something absolutely beautiful, and so very awesome looking, those Red Rocks were definately it! Oh My!! To think that all of it was natural. Nothing carved or chissled out to make these! We got to see Bell Rock, Coffee Pot Rock,Cathedral and Courthouse Rock, among others.. Sooo very beautiful!
If you ever get a chance to come to Arizona, I highly recommend seeing both of these fabulous places! I will share pictures with you all when I get back..
The weather is gorgeous here! Yesterday it was 75 and today it's supposed to be 73.. I can handle these temps! It is beautiful here, especially this time of the year!
You all have a wonderful day!
Blessings,
~Lynn

Oh I'm so jealous! I am such a history lover at heart - I always tell Jade that some day we are buying an RV and we are traveling the country - so many things my heart longs to see in the flesh.
ReplyDeleteLynn,
ReplyDeleteWhat a tease you are being throwing those wonderfully warm temps out there at us like that! Shame on you! LOL! We are in the grip of yet another horrible snow storm here. I swear I don't think this winter is ever gonna end! The castle sounds marvelous and I'll bet the Red Rocks are awesome! I can't wait to see some pics! I'm glad you are having a great time.
Hugs,
Donna
