Seems like my hubby and I have been on the go all day today! We left the house before lunch to go to Lowe's and pick me up a new shower curtain rod for my new shower curtain, and a new pull out rack for in our master bathroom cabinet... Hopefully this will help me become organized with my items in that cabinet.. Then, we came home, dropped off our goodies, and then we gave Daniel a call and decided to all meet up at IHOP on Sante Fe.. I tried my best to be good, but it's sooo hard with so many great choices of what to eat! After that we came home for a little while then we decided to go to Homeland grocery store and pick up just a few items... Well, a few items became a whole bunch more before we were done in there! I really dread going grocery shopping whether it's just for a few items or a whole list of items! I'm so glad that Dan was home to go grocery shopping with me though, and I sure do appreciate his help of bringing all the groceries in for me too! So anyhow, we got all the groceries put away, and then we decided that we would eat our supper and then we could go and relax a spell before it gets to be our bedtime.. Dan fixed supper this evening and it was sooo good! He made our daughter Michele's recipe for baked salmon, and we had some potato au gratin that we received from Omaha Steaks that was part of a package set from Michele for our Christmas present. Sooo delish!! Then we had some spinach and... then we shared one piece of delicious red velvet cake that we got from the grocery store. There just a one piece serving of cake and that is what we split. I know if we would have bought the whole cake...we'd eat it for sure, as red velvet cake is both of our favorite cakes to eat!! Oh my goodness, sooo good!! So that brings you all up to where we are at now... I'm posting on my blog here and Dan is in the livingroom watching tv..
Tomorrow we are planning on going to church and then going out for lunch with Daniel. We try to make it our family day every Sunday to have all three of us get together for lunch.. We've done this for a long time now.. I sure did miss this when Daniel was stationed over in Iraq.. Every Sunday, going out for lunch just wasn't quite the same for my hubby and me without Daniel being there to join us for lunch too.. It means so much that we are able to do that again now! The only thing that could make it any better would be if Michele and Jamie could be here with us for our family outings on Sunday's too. Jamie is now living in California and Michele is now in Arizona.. and we sure do savor the times that we all can be together for family get togethers, which means ever so much to us!
You all have a wonderful evening, and a beautiful Sunday...
~Lynn

Morning Lynn, your day sounds like our days most of the time when we leave to do something.

Your Sunday family sounds so nice....and I'm sure everytime you three are together the others who aren't there are mentioned in someway.
