Good Morning!
My goodness is it ever foggy outside! It is 37* out and is to get up to 65* today! That sounds sooo good!!
Now, to write a bit on my original topic! Today is my Weight Watcher's Tuesday weigh in and meeting.. I am hoping that I have lost some weight, as I've really tried hard being good all week long! I lost .2 last Tuesday...I'll let you know how I did today!
I did make it to my goal weight back in June 25, 2008. So, I'm a Lifetime member now, but... for me not to have to pay my monthly fee, I've got to weigh no more than 2 pounds over my goal weight.. and, to say the least, I'm like 13 pounds away from the 2 pounds that is allowed over one's goal weight.. I get so mad at myself, as I know how hard it is to take the weight off, but did I do anything about it?? NO!! Losing 5 pounds would be alot faster for me than what 13 will be.. But anyhow, I'm working on getting myself back on track...once again! I really should get myself into walking each day.. I know for a fact that does work and works well! When we first moved here, my son Daniel and I would take a 30 minute walk every day and it made me feel soo much better and also caused me to LOSE weight, weight that I wasn't at that particular time trying to lose. I was just awed by all the gorgeous homes that was in my son,Jamie and his wife's neighborhood, and just enjoyed walking around checking them all out!! One day I was putting on one of my skirts, getting ready for church in the morning, and I noticed that my skirt was quite a bit large for me... I got weighed on my daughter in law's bathroom scales, and lo and behold, I had lost 26 pounds beknowns to me.. as I wasn't aware that I was losing weight... I was just enjoying walking around the neighborhood looking at all the gorgeous homes! Anyhow, I lost 38 pounds this last time being on weight watcher's and I surely don't want to gain it all back, that's for sure! Wish it would come off as easily as it comes on, that would be wonderful!! So, I'm trying to get myself back on track so I can stay at my lower weight.. If anyone has any other suggestions as to what I might try along with walking, please do share with me! I appreciate any help and suggestions that anyone might have.
Wish me luck today!! I will let you know how I did at my weigh in tomorrow!
Have a wonderful day!
~Lynn

So glad we are 'following' each other! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the weigh in! Let us know how it goes! I joined WW 8 years ago when I 'thought' i was fat, well I lost 15 lbs there and felt great. I kept it off until about late 2007 then gained the 15 lbs. back. Well then moving temporarily out of state in 2008 for DH's transplant, I packed on another 28 lbs over the last 2 years!! So that is 43 extra pounds!! I've struggled with trying to diet with no luck due to lack of will power. Well now I started WW again 2 weeks ago, just on my own with the old tools I still have from them, following the points and lost 6 pds. so far whoo-hoo. Got to have motivation. Mine is we are moving back home in 2 months and then back to the office there I work at in May and NO WAY can I show up 40lbs heavier!!! Hopefully you and me can keep our will power!! You Go girl!
